Sara is a Board Certified Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner credentialed through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Sara received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree, magna cum laude, from Worcester State University in 2008. She then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing Degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2013.
Sara has been providing care as a nurse practitioner since obtaining her degree in 2013. She has spent the last four years practicing tertiary medicine and will be coming to us from nationally ranked hospital, Shepherd Center. She is extremely excited to join the PrimeHealth MD team and is passionate about playing a more active role in preventative health maintenance with a focus on wellness. Sara is an intelligent, fun loving and caring provider that thrives on helping patients improve quality of life through mitigating and preventing illness.
Sara is happily married and the proud mother of two sons. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, hiking, traveling and reading.
Practice Philosophy
Sara adheres strongly to the notion that patients are the source of their own answers and only require guidance to achieve optimal health. She practices with the belief that with the proper knowledge and support patients can actualize their goals for well-being. Sara spends time thoroughly listening to patients and engaging in dialogue with a goal of assisting patients in making informed, positive health choices.
